You can sell gold in any solid karat, 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K or 24K, in the form of jewellery, coins, bars or scrap, including broken and dental pieces. Only gold-plated and gold-filled items are generally not worth selling for their gold content, because they hold very little real gold.
